Post Romantic. Post Atomic. Post Rock. Post Socialist Realism.

Dan Maciuca represents an eternal era of dissatisfaction towards convention. He is identified by belonging to a time of political and cultural space constantly in transition and instability. The pseudo abstract and firm strokes of the spread of color are balanced by the use of pathetic titles with symbolic meanings, a reverberating technique of poetic dimensions at a visual level.

The structure of the painting is elaborate, aggressively applied yet still rational. Dan\'s masterpiece is a continuous exuberance of substance and color, in complementary contrast to an apocalyptical visionary theme.
